    Hi,

this looks like a parents claims it has a parent, but there parent playlists cannot be found. Can you please try the following:

    • Stop beaTunes
    • Go to /Users/dgarcia/Library/Application Support/beaTunes/ and rename Database to something else . You might have to use Finder and the menu Go -> Go to Folder... to get there, as OS X hides the ~/Library folder from you.
    • Start beaTunes

beaTunes should now rebuilt its database from your files. Does the problem still come up?
And another (completely unrelated) question? Do you have Java6 installed and if not, did the beaTunes installation trigger the installation of Java6 (it shouldn't)?

    Thanks,

PS: You can easily switch back to your old database file by renaming it back.

That took care of the problem! I wonder if it was just unhappy with the previous database that was in there? Everything is running fine now, though.
