BPM Missing For A Lot Of Songs In iTunes

BeaTunes has all the BPM information for all of my songs (except 12 of them), however, there are a BUNCH of songs in iTunes missing the BPM. I tried to re-analyze an artist to see if it would import those bpm's and it did for most, but still was lacking 15 out of the 59 I re-analyzed.

I am using the trial right now, by the way, and had high hopes for this software. Not looking so hot anymore.

FWIW, I am using the iTunes based library, not directory based.

    Hi,

are you on windows or on OS X and are those particular files perhaps read-only?

I am in windows 7. I checked and verified that nothing in my Music folder
is read-only, so that isn't the problem.

    Hi,

can you please send me your logs (http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-...) along with the names of some songs that the BPM isn't shown for in iTunes, but in beaTunes?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

unfortunately I couldn't find any of the mentioned tracks in your logs. Could you please analyze those tracks again, shut down beaTunes and send me another set of logs?

    Thank you!

I analyzed all the music only from the artist Sick Puppies that I have and
attached a .xlsx file with what is in iTunes. I also attached new log
files. There are still a lot of songs missing the bpm data.

Could this be an issue with the trial version maybe?

    Thanks,
    Dustin

Hm.. No, this is not due to the trial version - the real version is the same software, just with features unlocked.

Do the BPM perhaps show up, once you have played a song in iTunes?

No, playing the file does not populate the BPM. I can't think of anything
that would cause some to populate, but then others not too. I really do
appreciate your help trying to resolve this though.

    Thanks,
    Dustin

    Hi Dustin,

let's try the following: Please open the beaTunes preferences and go to the Analysis tap. Reduce the number of parallel analysis tasks to 1. Restart beaTunes. Then analyze some of those songs that don't show BPM in iTunes.

    Do they show up now?

    Thanks,

    -hendrik
