shows this dialog and AFAIK can't be convinced to not show
it.

As background info: beaTunes uses QuickTime to decode compressed
audio.

Currenty, the only workaround is to simply not add songs to the
analysis queue that DRM protected.

A Beatunes enhancement that would help work around the issue would be if you could sort by the "lock" (DRM?) column in the analysis queue. That way you could easily REMOVE DRM items (with the lock icon) from the queue.

lyle.kantrovichtag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/148734232012-04-19T16:48:22Z2017-05-18T06:10:08ZNot Authorized dialogue stalls analysis

FYI, for those with this problem,

I did find that sorting your library (in Beatunes) by the kind column worked for me...then I could skip analyzing DRM AACs and just pick all the non-DRM file types (e.g. regular MP3s) for analysis.

Thanks
