    OK - let's investigate...

    • Can you describe what beaTunes was doing, when it showed the message? Was it analyzing?
    • In the preferences, analysis tab, what is the number of parallel tasks set to?
    • What operating system are you on?

In any case, often it's very helpful for me to look at the logs. http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... tells you where to find them and how to send them.

    Thanks,

Beatunes was analyzing. parallel tasks set to 1. Using windows 7 64 bit.
the analysis of my music collection is done however. I will only use it to
analyze new songs and inspect my library.

Well, I doubt that this will happen again when analyzing just a few files.
