    OK - let's investigate...

    • Can you describe what beaTunes was doing, when it showed the message? Was it analyzing?
    • In the preferences, analysis tab, what is the number of parallel tasks set to?
    • What operating system are you on?

In any case, often it's very helpful for me to look at the logs. tells you where to find them and how to send them.

Beatunes was analyzing. parallel tasks set to 1. Using windows 7 64 bit.
the analysis of my music collection is done however. I will only use it to
analyze new songs and inspect my library.

Well, I doubt that this will happen again when analyzing just a few files.
