Beatunes 3.0.2
Mac 10.6
iTunes 10.3.1

202 gigs of music
21,175 files

Each time I try to log into BeaTunes it tells me that my database is loked and gives me the option to unlock it or not. Neither works and I am forced to force quit the program. I've tried re-installing, but that doesn't work either. I would try app zapper, but I don't want to lose all the key information I've created. It's saved in BeaTunes, not the mp3s, correct? Any suggestions for getting back into this program?

    Hi David,

based on your description, I can't say what's wrong. Logs would help me diagnose the problem. Please see http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... - if you want to send me your logs.

Regarding the key information. It's stored in beaTunes' internal database. If you have checked the option "embed non-iTunes fields" in the general preferences before analyzing your files, the key is also stored in your files and can be re-imported.

    Hi David,

thanks for the logs. Unfortunately, it seems that the internal beaTunes database is corrupted. The easiest way to solve this problem, is to simply delete /Users/david/Library/Application Support/beaTunes/Database/ - note that this also deletes the whole database, i.e. any information not embedded in your files will be lost.

    Sorry,
