I can not be 100% sure, but Beatunes3 removed my library setting
in iTunes. I have my music stored on an external hard drive. After
I opened BT3, I had to go into iTunes and reset my library
location. The only program I had run at the time is BT3.
On a side note. I have ~140,000 tracks in the library. When I
opened BT3 for the first time, it took over 4 hours before I could
do anything with it. From the syncing to inspection the library....
I have since not reopened BT3, but I hope it does not take 4 hours
each time... I read a note about turing off the artwork embedded
option, and it was off by default.

4 hours?! That's way too long...
Was this during the database update or the initial sync?
If it always takes this long, I'd be very interested in your
PS: beaTunes does not and cannot manipulate iTunes library
