I can't seem to be able to drag songs in beatunes into playlists in any way, either into the Beatunes playlist or the clone playlist on itunes.
Am I missing something or haven't you put this functionality in yet.
Right now I'm having to right click - choose play in itunes - click go to song in itunes and drag it in from there. Somewhat longwinded!

    Hi Charlie,

you should be able to drag songs from one beaTunes playlist to an editable beaTunes playlist. Only playlists you created yourself, are editable.

Is there a particular error that happens or can you describe how this fails in more detail?

    Thanks,

create one in itunes and it immediately appears in BeaTunes. If

    Hi,

editable playlists are all list created by the user that do not use some sort of automatic iTunes mechanism. E.g. the "Music" list in iTunes is not editable in beaTunes.

You should definitely be able to drag a song from one playlist to another within beaTunes. Apparently something is going wrong. Could you please repeat the problem, shut down beaTunes and send me your logs? http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... tells you where to find the logs and how to send them.

    Thanks,

    Hi Hendrik,

It does all appear to be working now! Thanks for your help, I'm not sure
what helped other than multiple restarting.
The only gripe I have now is that I have 16k songs, and when I drag a
song to a playlist, it takes me to the playlist and when I go back to
the library, it's lost the place, and gone back to the beginning, taking
ages to figure out where I was, so it's probably still quicker to use
the (play in itunes and drag from there) technique. Is there a way of
    saving my place?

    Thanks
    Charlie
