server error?

I am trying to do the BPM analysis of my iTunes library.

Under Tools, I click on Analyze all songs.

In the next menu, I say that I do not want to replace BPM where a value already exists.

When I click "Analyze," I get the attached server error.

How do I get around this?

Your tool is exactly what I have been looking for - a way to move BPM into my iTunes library for all of my music. But at the moment, I seem to be blocked.

    Hi Dorothy,

    there have recently a bunch of problems with that server.. but it should be up and running again for now.

    PS: To work around this, uncheck all "use online resources" checkboxes in the analysis options dialog.

    OK, I unchecked "use online resources," and have moved past problem #1, and on to Problem #2.

    My iTunes library has about 6000 songs. IWhen I click Analyze, beaTunes cheerfully informs me that 42 tasks have been added to the queue, and then nothing else happens.

    OK, patient support person.... how do I get past Problem #2?

    Hi Dorothy,

    only the songs or playlists you selected are moved to the queue. So to analyze all songs, click on "Music" in the left panel and then on analyze.

    That should do it!

    I am really sorry to be a dunce here. So I select Music, which highlights
    in blue. Then I have two options: Analyze Playlist (top nav bar) or
    Tools-> Analyze All Songs. In either case, the Analysis popup appears - and
    Music is no longer selected. And beatunes still happily says that 42 songs
    have been moved into the queue, cheerfully disregarding the rest of my
    library.

    Lost in the woods here, but loving the level of support. I will definitely
    buy a license to support your product.

    Hi,

    any chance the songs are already in the queue? You can check by clicking on it..
    Duplicate tasks are removed, when adding to the queue.

    in that case, please send me your logs. http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... tells you where they are and how to send them. Perhaps I can see in them what's going on.
