When analyzing, I get errors: beatunes was unable to determine the puid of track...

Also, when I click Get MusicIP PUIDs from server, i get the error: an error occured: java:lang.NullPointerException

Please help, this is my favourite feature of this program!

can you please reproduce both problems, shut down beaTunes and then send me your logs? http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... tells you where to find and how to send the logs.

it looks like the request simply times out - this could be because of a temporary glitch in MusicIP's servers or a bad Internet connection on your side.

I just checked my connection to their servers and that seems alright.. Are you sure your Internet connection is reliable?

I have been trying to do this for about a week, with the same result. I have a 3mbps internet connection, and the computer I am using for beatunes is outside of the firewall. The internet company came and tested the connection yesterday per my request, I have a perfect connection to their network. Also, I do not experience any problems with any other software or hardware that requires an internet connection such as the AT&T MicroCell.

I understand that this is annoying. Could you please try to reach the server with your webbrowser?
Just go to http://ofa.musicdns.org/ofa/1/track with FireFox.

    The output should read:

    400 Invalid "cid"
    Resin-3.0.18 (built Fri, 24 Feb 2006 02:47:03 PST)

    Does it?

Also, do you use any kind of proxy? Since this apparently used to work - can you think of anything that changed?
