Beatunes crashes a lot. An error message comes up on when loading up program: Schema Versions don't match.
Required: 17
Found: 18

When 1st using it appears to work properly as long as I don't ask it to get files from Beatunes. After a few songs are analyzed, the program just locks up.

I don't see where I can copy the log files to send you.

I have tried to upgrade to the newest version, but nothing happens. I have been suffering this since I uploaded version 2.1.9 last year.

if you experienced a crash or other abnormal behavior, you might want to attach log files from C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\tagtraum industries\beaTunes\logs

the error message you are seeing indicates that at some point a database update didn't go through correctly.

Could you please send me your logs? will tell you where to find them and how to send them.

Thanks for the quickness. I am impressed!

These are all the logs in the log folder. They are in the order of their
dates. The first on is 6/18/2010. The last one (log 4) is 5/5/2010. The
other two are both dated 6/18/2010.

from looking at the logs it seems that there are two separate problems.

    1) After running 2.0.15 you went back to running 2.0.14. beaTunes can't ever downgrade it's internal database - that's why this can easily lead to an error
    2) It looks like iTunes is not installed correctly. Please re-install a fresh copy of iTunes from and reboot your computer

    Hope this helps,
