Java 1.6.0_20. Afterwards uninstalled 2.1.13 since beaTunes was
still defaulting to starting this older version.</p>
<p>Now, after identifying new iTunes content and attempting to
upload it to the beaTunes server for analysis, I'm receiving an
error message. "Failed to Use On-line Resources: java.net.Socket
Timeout Exception Read Timed Out."</p>

<p>the installer for beaTunes 2.1.x does not automatically uninstall the old version when installing the new version. Most likely you have both versions installed now - I recommend to uninstall the older one. During the uninstall process you will be asked, whether you'd like to remove color etc. <em>Do not remove it</em>.</p>
<p>Regarding the Timeout, please simply try again. If it still does not work, uncheck the "use online resources" flag in <em>all</em> analysis tasks.</p>
