Hi

I am getting the following error when trying to export a playlist to CSV using the CSVPlayListExporter.groovy plugin

java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException

I have used this plugin successfully a number of times previously to export to CSV so not sure where the problem has arisen. Can anyone help?

    Hi Michael,

Please try again and then upload your logs via Help -> Upload Logs from within the app.

Typically this Exception means that beaTunes is not allowed to read or write a file by the operating system.

    Cheers,

    Hi Michael,

    got your logs.

So you're trying to export a playlist as CSV to C:\Users\micha\Documents\Xmas Alternative.csv.

    1. Any chance the file already exists?
    2. Are you running some kind of anti virus software that could be the cause of this?

    Cheers,

    Hi Hendrik

I was actually trying to export to C:\Users\micha\Documents\HMS CSI Full.csv but may have tried to do that other one previously. I'm pretty sure there is no file that already exists and I've tried different names but got the same error

I have Avast antivirus but I did have this previously when I was able to successfully export to CSV

If I go to Edit -> Preferences -> Plugins it looks like the CSV Exporter plugin is disabled - could this be part of the issue? And it doesn't look like there is an option to enable it?

    Thanks

Hi Hendrik - just as an update I tried disabling my antivirus and it worked, thanks!

    Great!

For my information: Which virus scanner was this?

    Thanks,
