ABSubmit plug-in generates "Exit code 1" on a few tracks
I thought it would be appropriate to begin a new discussion for this error.
While running the AcousticBrainzSubmit plug-in v 1.0.3, I encountered a few error messages like "Failed to submit '' to AcousticBrainz. Exit code 1. See log for details."
This is a repeatable error at least for 3 tracks. I tried each of these 3 tracks 3 separate times with the same result.
I attached some screen shots. It can't be coincidence that all 3 tracks are from the same album. However, other tracks from the same album processed OK. I'm also attaching one of the problem tracks. I tested this track ("Love Insurance". It plays fine. Also, I uploaded the logs immediately after creating the error for the 3rd time.
These are 3 errors out of a batch of 31,000 tracks, so the incidence is very low. Nonetheless, a bug is a bug, if that's what it turns out to be, so I'm reporting it. Personally, I consider this low priority since it happened so seldom. And I wouldn't be reporting it at all if the error weren't repeatable.

Hey Richard,
thanks for reporting this.
It appears to me that your files contain malformed metadata that the AcousticBrainz tool has a hard time dealing with. In the end, it dumps image data (the cover art) into a metadata string ("contentgroup"), which leads to a malformed JSON file—I assume invalid UTF-8.
I am not able to fix this, as this an AcousticBrainz issue. If you would like to bring this to the attention of AcousticBrainz, please file a bug report along with your sample file at https://tickets.metabrainz.org/projects/AB/issues/AB-447?filter=all...
For your reference, I have attached the produced JSON file (zipped). The error message I get is
Invalid control character at: line 1 column 40593 (char 40592)
.Cheers!

Hendrik,
Thank you very much for looking into it, and so quickly. I'll go to MusicBrainz for further action.
