where can find plugins after installation from preferences
and possible to manually install edited plugins?

   Hi,

   I think http://help.beatunes.com/kb/plugins/how-to-install-a-plugin might answer your question.

   BTW, it is most likely worth it to update to the latest 3.x version. The update it free and a couple of bugs have been fixed in the meantime.
