do you have an Apple Music subscription? Or are these your own files, uploaded to iCloud via iTunesMatch?

If so, can you please try to synchronize beaTunes using
File
->
Synchronize
and if asked, whether you'd like to force synchronize, please do so. If not asked whether you want to force it, please synchronize again.

I have a solution, and will use it this way, but want to double check this is working as designed.

Essentially, I can get BeaTunes to add BPM count to playlists that I find on Apple Music ("Top 100 Workout Songs of the 80s") but I cannot add any of those songs to a new playlist within BeaTunes, they never appear in Apple Music on the playlist and are deleted from the playlist in BeaTunes upon sync.

But if, before I get the BPM count on a playlist I find, I instead add the entire contents of that playlist to my library, then when I get BPM on the library list, I can add them to a playlist that syncs correctly from library/music.

Anyway, this took a LOT of troubleshooting, and I imagine you're going to tell me it's working as designed. If so, hoping this thread helps somebody else out too.

Bentag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Discussion/45564600822024-02-05T19:20:52Z2024-02-06T09:29:53ZComment supprimer les chemins des listes de lecture

Depending on the playlist format, you can simply open the list in Notepad (or some other pure text editor) and do search and replace.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Discussion/159360902016-03-28T14:56:35Z2024-01-31T08:00:42ZLast.fm Token expired

I cannot reproduce the failure with the latest version of beaTunes.
the colors reflect the automatic segmentation, meaning, where beaTunes thinks the verse, chorus etc. of the track are. Just hover over the segment with the mouse and the tooltip should explain, what beaTunes analyzed. The little blue bars below it point to similar segments in the same song. One can click on them to jump there.
The second thing, under the passed time, is the exploration mode. Depending on what it is set to, beaTunes will play a specific part of a song before moving to the next song. This allows you to scan through a list of new music or an album without having to manually click through every song.
That may actually not be necessary anymore with this snapshot.

One thing that will speed up things, is to hide the
Location
column. To do so, open the
View
menu and then
View Options...
. Find the
Location
entry in the right list and drag it into the left list.

Dear beatunes-Team.
I had a terrific system-crash and had to rebuild my MAC-OS environment from scratch. Seems that I lost my license-key for beatunes. After recovery I have to type-in the license-key, because software is in trial-mode. I'm not sure what was the initial-version but I was upgraded on 5-version latest. Can you help me with my license-key?
Kind regards, Manfred-Vienna

I am not sure I understand the question. Each library/collection you create in beaTunes is separate. I am looking for the same possibility but for a different reason.

The Music app (former iTunes) messed up my library in an unbelievable way. Maybe caused by network problems or Apple Music-files with no active account or …
It made dublicates of tracks, some of them two or three times, with wrong entries of the album artists, links with no file behind, a lot of are changing into a completely different song and so on.
The only way to find out is behind the entry in Music is to play the track. Now I have to that with 185.000 titles.
One way to do that faster could be to play it faster, but I couldn't find out how I can do that. I saw your answer, but maybe you can put speed change on your list of new tasks for the near future.

The second way is what I do per hand. I made a playlist for none-played songs for the period when the error happened, then I play these songs 5 secs and put the timeline to the end that that counter change to 1 and the played and corrected song vanished from the playlist.
Can BeaTunes do that with the right script? Is there a script for your software which can help me with that?
Or is there somebody out there who can wright this script? Pleas get in touch with me.
Thanks and kind regards Martin

Martintag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Discussion/43037571722023-11-16T16:17:15Z2023-11-22T09:24:48Z5.2.33 - BPM analysis returns same value for all tracks scanned

That's just a database lookup then.
